GENERAL ABSORBENTS, 15 X 18" PADS

When you are responding to an acid or unknown spill, be safe and reach for MEI hazmat sorbents. They absorb a wide range of caustics, acids, chemicals, and more. Trust them even when dealing with the most aggressive and highly concentrated liquids. Plus, their high-visibility colour ensures that people responding to a hazmat spill easily identify these absorbents as the correct absorbent for the job. We use only the highest grades of polypropylene and demand the highest of manufacturing standards. The grade of pad that you choose is dependent on your application and refers to the durability of the pad. We recommend a "light" pad for less rugged applications such as wiping down shelving and counter tops. "Medium" pads are the most popular grade of absorbent because of their balance of durability and price-point; they can handle most applications. "Heavy" pads are reserved for tough and rugged applications where there is a chance the pad could get torn up such as on rough surfaces or cleaning sharp tools.

General Absorbents are a "go-to" for those that need a reliable sorbent to tick all the boxes as far as compliance goes. A great all around solution that'll do most tasks well. Recommended for basic spill control & prevention tasks. These sorbents have minimal lint on them an are run through a bonder once to increase strength and durability.
