Our shredded socks are used to instantly contain a spill by creating a perimeter around it. Unlike standard polypropylene socks, which contain pieces of stiff polypropylene, shredded socks contain loose, absorbent material that has been processed and shredded. This construction allows the sock to conform better to surfaces versus standard socks where gaps may be present. Overlapping the ends of asborbent socks will create a tighter barrier and ensure that no liquid gets through.
